We represent the interests of our members before the U.S. Congress, federal agencies and other policy-setting bodies on issues such as taxes, insurance, bankruptcy reform and fair housing. In addition, state Legislative Action Committees represent CAI members before state legislatures and agencies on issues such as assessment collection, foreclosure and construction defects. Well, there you go, "responsible governance and effective management", can't quibble with that! They've been looking out for us all along. No doubt they will be working closely with Jonathan and Sam in the future as they craft and promote legislation protecting individual homeowners from current HOA abuses.
Okay, my sense of humor has gotten me into trouble in the past.
